Position: Operations Coordinator/Construction
Reports to: General Manager, Ownership

Responsibilities:

Initial setup of projects, including scheduling and maintaining a working schedule.
Oversee all scheduled activities and ensure materials are purchased and ordered to fit within the project timeline.
Coordinate the project schedule with the general contractor, shop, subcontractors, installers, and shipping/receiving.
Determine installation requirements and budget, hire and schedule install companies based on project-specific needs.
Maintain shop schedule and coordinate projects with shop management to ensure fabrication coincides with the delivery schedule.
Communicate with other project managers/schedulers to avoid scheduling conflicts or overbooking installers.
Additional Responsibilities:

Coordinate purchasing of project materials, hardware, and buyout parts with the Scheduling/Purchasing assistant.
Utilize assistants for acquiring quotes, writing and sending purchase orders, and coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
Utilize assistants for general project organization, including scanning, copying, filing, shop drawing distribution, labeling, etc.
Delegate unnecessary tasks to the appropriate party and utilize the project team effectively.
Show up to work on time, prepared for the day.
Work the entire shift and any overtime hours as required.
Present a professional appearance and be proactive in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
Qualifications:

Experience in construction is a big plus.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Proficiency in project management software.
