INTERNSHIP DESCRIPTION: ??? ??Opportunity to learn through experience about key aspects of public sector communications and outreach. ?Key responsibilities are: ?Evaluate current social media platforms to ensure content is dynamic and up to date with current trends, draft social media posts for various platforms, make suggested content ideas for newsletters, e-connect, bill messaging, messaging campaigns, etc., draft/design branded collateral materials to include but not limited to video, templates, infographics, advertisement sets, new graphic icons and other design elements, support special events and correspondence as needed, work on special projects for the Public Affairs communication team and other duties as assigned. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: ?AP Style writing, basic understanding of the following - computer skills (MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, outreach, basic understanding of social media management, basic understanding of graphic design, experience with event coordination, capturing photos and videos, video production, and strong organizational skills.
