As a Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys and legal professionals in providing legal services to clients. Your responsibilities will include conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, assisting with case management, and liaising with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal matters. You will contribute to the efficient operation of the legal team and the delivery of high-quality legal representation to clients.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research using various resources such as online databases, legal libraries, and other reference materials to support attorneys in case preparation and strategy development.
• Assist in drafting and preparing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, contracts, agreements, and other legal correspondence.
• Organize and maintain case files, documents, evidence, and other materials, ensuring they are accurately indexed, categorized, and easily accessible.
• Assist attorneys in case management activities, including organizing meetings, depositions, hearings, and trials, and coordinating schedules and deadlines.
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties to gather information, obtain documents, schedule meetings, and provide updates on case • progress.
• Review and analyze legal documents, contracts, agreements, and other materials to identify relevant issues and ensure accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of legal documents with courts, administrative agencies, and other relevant authorities, including electronic filing when applicable.
• Provide administrative support to attorneys, such as answering phones, responding to emails, managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and maintaining office supplies.
• Proofread and edit legal documents and correspondence for accuracy, grammar, punctuation, and formatting.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in handling sensitive information and client matters.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience working as a paralegal, legal assistant, or in a similar role is advantageous.
• Knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation.
• Proficiency in legal research methods and using legal research tools and databases.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, and colleagues.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite and legal software applications.
• Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and court rules applicable to the practice area.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Professional demeanor and the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
