We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will support our attorneys by performing a variety of legal tasks, including legal research, drafting documents, preparing case files, and assisting in trial preparation. This role requires a high level of organization, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
-Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries for attorneys.
-Draft legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, contracts, and letters.
-Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions.
-Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all relevant documentation is up to date.
-Communicate with clients, witnesses, experts, and opposing counsel to gather information and schedule meetings.
-Prepare and file legal documents with courts, government agencies, and other entities in accordance with deadlines.
-Assist with discovery, including document review, managing evidence, and preparing exhibits.
-Manage and track case deadlines and court dates to ensure timely filings.
-Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
-Review and organize contracts, leases, and other legal agreements.
-Support attorneys in client meetings and legal proceedings, providing administrative assistance as needed.
Requirements:
-2-5 years of experience, especially in probate, litigation, and personal injury law
-Strong computer skills (LexisNexis, CourtPlus)
-Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple cases daily
-Experience in a multicultural environment
-Positive personality for client interactions, even under pressure
-Willingness to learn and adapt
