A growing Personal Injury firm is seeking an experienced Paralegal with 5+ years of experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and possess a strong understanding of legal procedures and documentation, specifically within the personal injury field.

Responsibilities:

Prepare pleadings, correspondence, forms, and other legal documents
File court documents and handle correspondence, memoranda, pleadings, law and motion, and related documents
Prepare and serve discovery and subpoenas
Request records (medical, employment, etc.) via various record services and maintain subpoenaed records log
Accurately calendar deadlines and reminders for important dates and events
Manage incoming and outgoing mail for supported attorneys
Schedule hearings, meetings, depositions, conference calls, and assist with travel arrangements as needed
Assist co-workers and other timekeepers with various tasks as needed
Education and Experience:

5+ years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in personal injury law
Proficient in MS Office applications
Strong knowledge of legal procedures, terminology, and local, state, and federal filing guidelines
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
