Payroll Specialist
Valencia, CA
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for processing payroll for over 1,350 employees, ensuring compliance with prevailing wage requirements and accurately managing timekeeping information.
Key Responsibilities:
Review, approve, and process payroll, including prevailing wage projects (Davis Bacon, California DIR, and Nevada).
Maintain and report current prevailing wage information for bidding.
Prepare certified payroll reports in systems like LCP Tracker and Elations.
Ensure compliance with apprenticeship requirements and manage section 3 hiring tracking.
Process direct deposits, wage adjustments, and separation pay.
Address payroll-related inquiries from employees.
Qualifications:
3+ years of payroll processing experience, with a preference for labor costing and union payroll.
Proficiency in advanced Excel and Outlook; experience with payroll and electronic timekeeping systems.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
