50% Payroll Processing - Works closely with internal WFA, BN, PY and GL. Coordinates with respective payroll teams to ensure extended continuous processing and communicates system needs and requirements while using in-depth knowledge of HR, Benefit and Payroll business processes. Generates reports/ queries and utilizes appropriate reporting tools;
20% Business and System Analysis -
Stays current on configuration changes needed to implement payroll processes and tax updates to ensure they do not negatively impact customized program requirements. Reviews existing business processes that connect to other operational groups and
evaluates inefficiencies and enhances quality control standards and collaborates to implement an optimal solution for process improvement.
10% Creates, tracks, manages, and drives business process defects to full resolution via workarounds and incidents. Uses internal tracking tools to maintain a current status of issues. Partners with Production and ITSS department to ensure effective and timely resolution of all workarounds, change requests and incidents. Recommends and implements changes as approved by Production Leadership in processes and procedures.
Negotiates with stakeholders on the creation of specifications.
10% Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing complex systems and procedures. Creates complex specifications for systems to meet end-user requirements. Involved in developing complex user interface designs. Plans and executes unit integration and acceptance testing. Participates in cross-functional teams to address complex business or systems issues.
10% Gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes business and user needs, documenting requirements and revising existing system and process logic issues as necessary. Provides support and training on new applications. Guides and advises less-experienced Business Systems Analysts
