We are seeking an experienced Payroll and Human Resources Specialist to join our team. This role is critical to ensuring accurate payroll processing and compliance with HR requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of payroll laws, and a customer-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities:

Process weekly and bi-weekly payrolls, direct deposits, pay cards, and out-of-period check requests.
Conduct compliance reviews of all new hire paperwork, including Form I-9 verification.
Provide payroll and HR support by responding to emails and occasional calls.
Ensure compliance with payroll laws and regulations, including FMLA, LOA, Garnishments, ADA, and more.
Utilize automated payroll systems (ADP Workforce Now experience preferred).
Skills and Knowledge:

Extensive knowledge of payroll processing laws and regulations.
Proficiency in payroll transaction processing and automated payroll systems.
Strong understanding of HR policies and compliance requirements.
Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to complete tasks on time.
Professional written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Judicious decision-making and tactful interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Experience motivating teams to deliver quality results within tight deadlines.
