Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Personal Injury Claims Coordinator to join our team in the Ballantyne area. This role is ideal for a professional with 1-2 years of experience in personal injury claims, who is passionate about helping clients navigate the claims process efficiently. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing personal injury claims, ensuring cases are processed promptly and in compliance with legal and insurance regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Claim Intake & Assessment:
Review and assess new personal injury claims, ensuring all necessary information is gathered and documented.
Determine eligibility for claims and communicate next steps to clients and legal teams.
Case Management & Documentation:
Organize and maintain case files, including medical records, accident reports, and legal documents.
Coordinate with medical providers to obtain necessary treatment documentation.
Ensure timely submission of required paperwork and adherence to case timelines.
Communication & Liaison Duties:
Serve as the primary point of contact for claimants, attorneys, insurance adjusters, and medical providers.
Provide updates to clients regarding the status of their claims.
Ensure clear and effective communication between all parties involved in the claims process.
Claims Processing & Compliance:
File claims and track progress, ensuring all deadlines and regulatory requirements are met.
Ensure compliance with personal injury laws, insurance policies, and internal company procedures.
Identify and resolve any issues that could delay claims processing.
Negotiation & Settlement Support:
Assist with settlement negotiations by preparing documentation and coordinating with attorneys.
Support claimants in obtaining fair compensation by ensuring all necessary evidence is properly presented.
Data Entry & Record-Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of claims, correspondence, and legal documents in the case management system.
Regularly update internal databases and ensure proper filing of all case-related materials.
Skills & Qualifications:
Must have 1-2 years of experience in personal injury claims.
Strong knowledge of insurance and legal claims processes related to personal injury.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and legal representatives.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Proficiency in claims management software and strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite).
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
