Our client is looking for a highly motivated Precision Brake Operator that has a desire to work in a fast paced, quality centered environment. The Precision Brake Operator Level 1 forms metal stock on an Industrial Press Brake, meeting or exceeding customer specs and productivity requirements by reading blueprints and ensuring correct machine and die settings. This role is vital to ensure the customers’ needs are consistently met to promote the company’s continued strong national growth.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Locate and ensure correct material is delivered to the work center.
• Ensure the machine is working properly.
• Ensure an appropriate nesting program is delivered to the work center.
• Ensure nesting program matches print with work order
• Ensure that the correct gas, speed, and consumables are applied correctly.
• Accurately project completion of work orders at work center
• Complete assignments on time and correctly
• Ensure jobs are staged correctly after completion
• Continually maintain a clean working environment
• Notify the Supervisor immediately of any problems or issues with machine
• May perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:
• 1 plus years with Press Brake operation.
• Ability to indicate vices
• General knowledge of plate bending operation.
• Ability to read and understand prints.
• Ability to read and understand measuring devices.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferably
• Must be able to lift up to 100lbs.
