Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and client-focused Private Banking Representative to serve as the primary liaison between VIP clients and The Bank. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional service, fostering lasting relationships, and providing innovative financial solutions to exceed client expectations. The Private Banking Representative will focus on high-touch customers, managing high-value business accounts, and ensuring a world-class banking experience.
Key Responsibilities
Client Interaction & Support
Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, fax, and voicemail within department standards.
Assist clients with new products, services, and account openings.
Process client transactions, including deposits, transfers, and wire transfers.
Handle verification requests such as Verification of Deposit (VOD) and Credit Rating requests.
Maintain daily client contact regarding overdraft reports, check and wire verifications, and return deposited items.
Address and escalate client concerns as needed.
Account Management & Operations
Conduct account maintenance, including updates to client records (electronic and paper files).
Process account change requests and assist with new business accounts.
Manage client supply orders (checks, deposit slips, endorsement stamps, etc.).
Ensure compliance with Bank policies, GLBA, BSA, and security protocols.
Support internal teams with product and service setup.
Complete specific assigned monthly tasks (reconciliations, certifications, client report management, etc.).
Relationship Building & Business Development
Cross-sell bank products and services to meet client needs.
Support senior management and participate in department meetings.
Assist in planning and coordinating client and bank events.
Travel to client sites as needed for account openings, transactions, and maintenance.
Qualifications & Skills
1-3 years of banking experience, preferably in branch banking, corporate/business accounts, treasury management, online banking, remote deposit capture, small business bill pay, and wire transfers.
Strong ability to manage client escalations and recommend financial solutions.
Exceptional client service skills with a focus on high-net-worth individuals and businesses.
Proven experience in problem resolution and relationship management with high-touch clients.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows-based systems.
Signing Authority or willingness to obtain.
Strong time management, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required.
