Busy estate planning and elder law firm in Oviedo is looking for a Probate Paralegal!
100% on site
Salary: Commensurate with experience - $50,000-$60,000 range ideally
Job Responsibilities:
Handling all aspects of administering formal and summary probate proceedings
Handling all aspects of trust administration through termination or funding of ongoing trusts
Drafting, organizing, and managing court pleadings and filings
Meeting with and signing documents with clients
Interacting with financial advisors and financial institutions
Handling the gathering and documenting of estate assets and creditors
Requirements:
The qualified candidate will have experience as a probate paralegal or related field (e.g. estate planning, guardianship, elder law)
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software (Word, Outlook, Excel) and others including Clio and Westlaw Form Builder.
2+ years of experience in the legal field
Able to work effectively within a team and independently
Excellent communication written and verbal communication skills
Superior time management and organizational skills
Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks concurrently.
Flexibility in working for multiple attorneys
Dogs may be present at times
Work Hours & Benefits:
