We are seeking a Production Operator to assist in all areas of our production facility. This is a hands-on manufacturing role that requires working closely with products and equipment in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must have prior manufacturing/production experience, with machine operation and assembly experience preferred.
?? Location: 1100 Technology Dr, Jackson, MI 49201
? Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
?? Pay Rate: $19/hour
?? Contract Duration: 6 Months
Physical Requirements:
?? Must be able to lift and carry up to 55 lbs.
?? Must be able to wear face goggles/shield when required
Responsibilities:
?? Operate forklifts, hand trucks, and other material-moving equipment
?? Load drums and sacks with finished solid chemical products
?? Complete all required daily production documentation
?? Identify and report safety violations or concerns
?? Work hands-on in a manufacturing environment, interfacing with product and equipment
?? Ensure efficient production operations in a fast-paced environment
?? Provide support in chemical processes and other operational activities
?? Maintain excellent housekeeping, attendance, and teamwork
Essential Job Functions:
? Follow and uphold safety standards
? Troubleshoot equipment issues
? Operate a forklift safely and efficiently
? Work with chemical processes while adhering to safety guidelines
? Wear all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Qualifications:
?? Must be flexible to work either 1st or 2nd shift
?? Chemical experience preferred
?? Basic SAP knowledge preferred
?? Proficient in basic computer skills
?? Ability to work well in a team environment
?? Strong work habits (attendance, safety, housekeeping, etc.)
?? Good verbal and written communication skills
