Medical supply company is hiring for a production supervisor to join their team.
Job Posting: Production Supervisor
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and coordinate product processing.
• Monitor backorder reports and production scheduling.
• Ensure minimal backorders and maintain product quality.
• Create inventory transfers and production orders.
• Handle paperwork and electronic receipt of finished goods.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory functions.
• Maintain inventory integrity for components and finished products.
• Communicate with product divisions on backordered and substitute items.
• Act as backup for production equipment, material handling, and warehouse operations.
• Develop and mentor staff through onboarding, training, and performance management.
• Build and maintain employee morale and motivation.
• Ensure team is appropriately staffed with required competencies.
Required Experience:
• Managing workflow of large operations.
• Demonstrated ability to model active listening.
• High-volume manufacturing experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
Ideal candidate will have
• SAP and Catalyst experience.
• At least 2 years of production experience.
• Previous experience as a department lead or supervisor.
• At least 1 year of experience managing people.
• Experience supervising 25+ direct reports.
• 5 years of related field experience with 3 years in a supervisor position.
• Associate's degree.
• Lean/Six Sigma exposure a strong plus.
