Easterseals Washington is hiring for a short term Project Coordinator to assist with their office renovation project.

Scope of Work: Office Renovation Project Manager
Project Overview:
The office renovation project involves the redesign, refurbishment and expansion of the existing office space to create a more modern, functional, and aesthetically pleasing work environment. The project manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the renovation project from planning and design to execution and completion.
Responsibilities:
1. Planning and Coordination
- Develop a detailed project plan outlining key milestones, timelines, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including landlord, contractors, vendors, and internal teams, to ensure alignment on project goals and objectives.
- Regularly report on progress, address issues, and make necessary adjustments to the project plan.
- Develop a detailed project plan for appropriate document disposal adherent to the ESW Record Retention Policy.
- Develop a detailed project for disposal of unwanted furniture and other office items.
2. Budget Management
- Develop and manage the project budget, including cost estimates, tracking expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Obtain competitive bids from vendors to ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Monitor expenses and provide regular budget updates.
3. Design and Construction
- Work closely with external designers and internal marketing to develop an office design concept that meets the organization's requirements and budget.
- Oversee the construction phase, ensuring that work is completed according to specifications, on schedule, and within budget.
- Coordinate inspections, permits, and approvals as required.
4. Quality Assurance
- Implement quality control measures to ensure that work meets industry standards and client expectations.
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect workmanship and address any issues or concerns promptly.
- Ensure that all materials and finishes meet quality standards and specifications.
5. Risk Management
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and cost overruns.
- Monitor and address safety and security issues on the construction site to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
Deliverables:
1. Project plan with milestones and timelines.
2. Budget proposal and regular budget updates.
3. Design concept and construction drawings.
4. Regular progress reports and status updates.
5. Completed office renovation within agreed-upon timeline and budget.
Timeline:
Phase one of the office renovation project is expected to be completed within six weeks of start. Once complete, phase two will commence and is expected to be completed within four weeks of start.
