This Property Porter Position Features:
• Inspects the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings, ensuring all common areas and amenities remain clean and free of litter at all times.
• Removes trash and leftover items from vacant apartments prior to starting the make-ready process, transferring trash to the dumpster or appropriate storage areas, and maintaining storage areas.
• Completes minor and routine service requests as directed by the Service Supervisor and/or Community Manager, assisting the make-ready specialist in the turn process.
• Changes all locks per the property’s policy and ensures gates to all pool areas meet code and safety standards.
• Distributes notices and communications to residents as needed.
• Alerts supervisors of any observed hazards or potentially dangerous situations that could impact residents, team members, guests, and others.
• Demonstrates excellent customer service by treating residents and others with respect, answering questions, and responding sensitively to complaints about maintenance services.
• Complies with safety and risk-management policies by attending and participating in routine safety meetings, and completing required training on OSHA and other safety regulations.
