Purchasing Clerk

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
$21 - $28 per hour (depending on experience)
We are currently seeking a Purchasing Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will support our procurement process to ensure we have the right materials, equipment, and supplies needed to maintain operations and meet our customer demands.
Key Responsibilities:
Process purchase orders for agricultural supplies, equipment, and materials.
Monitor inventory levels to ensure stock is adequate and reorder as necessary.
Communicate with vendors to obtain quotes, resolve discrepancies, and track orders.
Maintain purchasing records, ensuring proper documentation of all transactions.
Work closely with internal departments to understand inventory needs and demand.
Assist in maintaining strong vendor relationships and negotiating better terms.
Ensure compliance with the company’s purchasing policies and agricultural industry regulations.
Provide administrative support to the purchasing department as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree in Business or Agriculture preferred).
Must have at least 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain, ideally within the agricultural or related industry.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills with vendors and internal teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
