Buena Park, CA: Company seeking to add a Purchasing candidate to their team of professionals.
Ideal candidate will have:
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work and communicate in an effective manner with vendors/customers.
4-5 years’ experience Purchasing and Quoting
Strong negotiation skills
Advanced Microsoft Office Suite
Microsoft Dynamics and Navision is highly desired
Some responsibilities include:
Preparing purchase orders to specifications, reviewing market for best pricing, availability, and quality.
Prepare and submit quotes
Reviews vendor performance and accountability
Interface with sales reps, vendors, distributors, and customer service reps
Keeps accurate records of quotes and purchase orders
Obtain purchased items by forwarding orders to suppliers; monitors and expedites orders.
