AppleOne is actively recruiting a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee complex accounting tasks and contribute to our clients strategic financial planning process. Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with reporting and procedural standards.
• Report to management regarding the finances of the organization.
• Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
• Provide guidance on financial reporting and collaborate with other departments to support decision-making processes.
• Oversee the accuracy and transparency of the organization's financial records.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or Business preferred.
• Minimum of 6+ years of accounting experience, ideally within a non-profit organization.
• Proficiency in NetSuite and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with grant compliance and fund accounting highly preferred.
• Collaborative, detailed, and adaptable.
