We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Compliance Analyst to lead, supervise, and support the compliance area of our company. The primary responsibilities include overseeing government filings, payments, registrations, and processes to ensure compliance with Puerto Rican and federal laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
? Lead and supervise financial statement audits for Gonzalez Trading, Joma Fund LLC, and all audited states of the companies.
? Review and ensure compliance with Income Tax filings, Municipal Patents, and CRIM ? for entities under our management.
? Prepare supplementary reports under law 163.
? Lead credit line audits.
?Ensure compliance with Exemp Annual Report law 60 and maintain up-to-date records of exempt clients.
? Lead 401k audits in conjunction with Human Resources.
? Ensure compliance with monthly and quarterly filings such as IVU, professional services payments, quarterly professional services payroll, etc.
? Manage SURI licensing requirements including vehicle licenses, merchandise filing, merchant registration, dealer registration, bonds, and other related tasks.
? Support resolution of SURI declaration issues, tariff payments, etc.
? Audit vehicle payment accounts in SURI to ensure compliance with corresponding payments.

Requirements:
? Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, concentration in Accounting.
? Extensive experience in tax compliance and state laws.
? Proficiency in Spanish and English (Bilingual).
? Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GAAP, and governmental regulations.
? Experience with financial analysis and reporting.
? Strong numerical skills and ability to handle arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics.
? Excellent written and oral communication skills.
? Strong organizational and time management abilities.
? Ability to establish and maintain interpersonal relationships.
? Experience working in a tax firm is preferred.
