Compensation: $$20.00-$28.60/hour DOE - FULL TIME/PERM

Summary:

The position is required to be knowledgeable and skilled in opening new consumer and complex business accounts. Responsible for processing all new account transactions; assisting clients in their selection of various accounts and financial services; actively cross selling the Bank's products and services; maintaining and closing of all account types; performing branch clerical duties; promotes business for the Bank by maintaining good client relations and referring clients to appropriate staff and partners for new services. Ensures compliance with all Bank policies and procedures and all applicable state and federal banking regulations.

Duties:

• Conducts thorough customer interviews to suggest suitable banking products/services.
• Actively promotes and cross-sells bank products to new and existing customers.
• Aids in generating new business to meet branch profitability goals.
• Collaborates with other bank divisions to identify sales opportunities and ensure excellent customer experiences.
• Assists in business development by making assigned monthly calls.
• Handles various account types (consumer/business), including checking, savings, CDs, IRAs, and Trust & Estate Accounts.
• Supports business clients with essential Treasury Services.
• Maintains comprehensive knowledge of bank products, relevant laws, and documentation requirements.
• Processes transactions and ensures accurate record-keeping.
• Addresses client inquiries and adheres to banking regulations such as the Bank Secrecy Act.
• Prepares reports and assists in data gathering as needed.
• Offers courteous and prompt service to clients in-person and over the phone.
• Sets an example of outstanding customer service and handles challenging situations with tact.
• Proactively identifies and retains "at-risk" customers.
• Strives to exceed customer expectations by providing exceptional service.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
A minimum of three years’ banking teller experience is required
Advanced experience with opening consumer accounts and complex business accounts is required
Prior supervisory experience is preferred
Minimum of three years strong customer relations skills and the ability to communicate and work well with employees and customers in a cooperative and positive manner
Possesses strong knowledge of basic banking regulations such as BSA and Information Security
Must possess excellent judgment and the ability to accept responsibility and handle confidential information
Must be proficient in using Word, Excel, and Outlook applications and banking programs
