*This position is hybrid- 3 days in the Princeton office, 2 days WFH*
This is a contract role for at least 6 months.
Skills / Qualifications:
- 5+ years payroll experience
- UKG/Ultipro experience is a plus but not required
- Strong accounting knowledge; Reconciliations, Journal Entries
- Solid understanding of payroll and payroll tax laws
- Strong analytical skills; Solve unique, complex problems; Make basic decisions, escalating items where applicable
- Communicate clearly and effectively
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Excel
- Detail orientated, organized, accountable for accuracy and meeting deadlines
- Must be a team player to blend individual tasks / processes to achieve group objectives
- Experience with multi-state and Canadian payroll compliance
? Experience with state and local tax registration and reconciliation
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop full understanding of the inputs and outputs of payroll cycles
- Maintain payroll information by collecting, calculating, analyzing and entering data utilizing the UKG Pro payroll system in accordance with policy and procedures
- 401k Reconciliation / Funding
- Equity Vesting
- Relocation Processing
- Effectively manage entire General Ledger processing, reconciliation and SAP interface
- Reporting to Finance / Accounting
- Audit / SOX Compliance
- Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Reporting
- Maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures and have knowledge of what data and calculations are required in assigned areas
- Ensure complete, accurate and timely processing of information
- Collaborate with payroll colleagues as well as other business areas, including Human Resources, Benefits, Compensation, Finance and Technology.
- Year End W-2 processing
- Balance sheet account reconciliation support
- Provide analysis and reporting as required and assigned by management
- Provide customer service by responding to employee questions and requests
