Server Build Technician Tier II – Provisioning Technician

Join our cutting-edge team, where innovation meets excellence! We are a leading provider of advanced IT solutions, and we're looking for a passionate and skilled Server Build Technician Tier II to elevate our provisioning operations.

What You'll Do

Provisioning Support:
- Dive into the heart of automated transactions, troubleshooting and implementing solutions with precision.
- Master provisioning workflows and leverage internal resources to identify and resolve automation failures.
- Escalate complex transactions to specialized internal groups when necessary, ensuring seamless operations.
- Tackle network and operating system issues related to automated transactions, stepping in when operational resources need a boost.

Datacenter Walkthroughs:
- Conduct thorough walkthroughs of our state-of-the-art facility, noting any audible or visual alarms on customer servers.
- Address and resolve alarms independently, ensuring optimal server performance.
- Escalate facility issues to the datacenter team, maintaining compliance and operational excellence.

Distressed Inventory Management: - Take charge of distressed inventory, running hardware diagnostics and performing component farming to support site thresholds.
- Ensure our inventory is in top shape, ready to meet the demands of our dynamic environment.

Internal Requests:
- Handle internal escalations with finesse, working under the guidance of the Site Manager to fulfill hardware requests.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure timely and effective resolution of internal needs.

Outage & UIP Response:
- Be the first responder to UIP-related events, coordinating with internal teams to resolve physical infrastructure issues.
- Manage rack-level outages, escalating broader issues to ensure swift recovery and minimal downtime.

What We're Looking For:
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive problem-solver with a clear understanding of escalation paths.
- Experience in troubleshooting network and operating system installations and configurations.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other technicians, departments, and customers.
