My client is looking for a Shipping Supervisor who will oversee the shipment of outgoing or incoming materials, parts, or products. The candidate will study shipping and receiving processes for effectiveness. Suggestions to improve the distribution procedures, and act to improve timeliness or reduce costs are suggested. The candidate will document shipping or receiving information and complete reports for management.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and oversee daily shipping activities
• Supervise warehouse personal
• Help monitor inventory levels
• Resolve any issues with orders that’s missing part to make them complete
• Make sure all bill of ladings is correct before the shipment are loading
• Monitor any items that may need to be removed while the truck is loading. Match the changes being made to the bill of lading
• Taking monthly inventory counts. Correcting any miss counting items A.S.A.P
• Collaborate with the correct people as needed to get the product ready to ship
• Call freight companies to set up shipping when needed
• Keep the warehouse clean and always organized

Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a shipping role
• Minimum of 1 year in a supervisor role
• Experience using both sit down and standup forklifts
• Excellent organizational skills to ensure efficient shipping process
• Proficiency in using shipping software
