Your Role in Our Success: As the Senior Staff Accountant, you will work closely with the Controller and other key stakeholders to maintain the integrity of our financial data, ensure compliance with company policies, and support various financial functions across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with department managers to ensure financial needs are met and guidelines followed.
Assist in the preparation of timely monthly and annual financial statements, including Balance Sheets and Income Statements.
Provide critical backup support for the Accounts Receivable team and ensure smooth month-end processes.
Prepare recurring journal entries, accruals, and assist with month-end closing tasks.
Work closely with other teams, including Purchasing and Operations, to manage and reconcile inventory and financial information.
Contribute to the development and refinement of company policies and procedures.
Stay current with industry trends and developments through professional education and networking opportunities.
What We’re Looking For:
A detail-oriented and self-motivated individual with a strong understanding of financial accounting.
The ability to work independently and with a high level of professionalism, while also thriving in a team-oriented environment.
Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
Experience with financial software (QuickBooks, In acct, Service Titan preferred) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
A strong work ethic, with the ability to meet deadlines, multitask, and take on a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment.
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience is also valued.
