Staff Accountant – Dallas, TX
Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional looking to grow in a dynamic and supportive environment? We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team in Dallas, TX. This role offers the opportunity to work with a well-established company, providing key financial support and ensuring accurate reporting.
As a Staff Accountant, you will prepare and maintain financial records, including journal entries and reconciliations, and assist with month-end and year-end close processes. You will process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions while ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies. Additional responsibilities include supporting financial reporting, audits, and tax preparation, analyzing financial data to assist in decision-making, and contributing to budgeting and forecasting processes. You will also collaborate with internal teams to support various accounting functions.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in public or corporate accounting. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar, along with strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines, are essential. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are also required.
