Staff Accountant II

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Staff Accountant II with a background in agricultural lending and auditing to join our Clients team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial operations and support our clients in the agricultural sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and analyze financial statements, records, and reports.
Conduct audits of financial transactions and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Manage and review agricultural lending portfolios, including loan documentation and credit analysis.
Perform reconciliations of accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audit processes.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve operational efficiency.
Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
Perform other accounting duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in accounting, with a focus on agricultural lending and auditing.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office programs.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
