Pay Range: $110K - $120K (DOE)
About the Role:
As a Senior Tax Accountant, you'll play a key role in the success of the firm by providing expert tax services to a diverse client base, including individuals, businesses, and trusts. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
Tax Preparation & Review: Prepare, review, and submit individual and business income tax returns (including multi-state filings).
Tax Planning: Lead quarterly tax planning for businesses and individuals.
Financial Statement Review: Assess financial documents to ensure accuracy and completeness before preparing tax filings.
Client Communication: Interface with clients and taxing authorities, providing clear guidance and support.
What We're Looking For:
Experience: You bring at least 5 years of tax preparation experience, with a strong background in corporate, partnership, and trust tax preparation.
CPA License: You hold an active CPA license.
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or equivalent).
Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, PDF software, QuickBooks, and other accounting software. Experience with UltraTax is a plus.
Problem-Solving: You’re a quick thinker, comfortable resolving complex issues.
Adaptability: You thrive in a paperless environment and embrace technology to streamline processes.
