Client is in need of a full-time Transactional Assistant with at least five years of legal secretarial experience, who will on transactional work such as real estate and corporate mergers and acquisitions. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, with excellent communication and proofreading skills, and strong attention to detail. In this role, the Legal Secretary will support assigned attorneys by handling secretarial tasks, including drafting, editing, and proofreading legal documents; assisting with closings; preparing closing binders and corporate documentation; and managing client files and calendars. A notary commission may be required, along with other administrative tasks as needed. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic transactional environment while ensuring high-quality client service and firm support.
