About the Role
As a Medical Transcriptionist, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely documentation of medical notes, patient records, and reports. Your work directly supports healthcare professionals in providing the best care possible.
Responsibilities:
Transcribe audio recordings of medical notes, patient histories, and reports with high accuracy.
Interpret and apply complex medical terminology and context appropriately.
Proofread and edit transcriptions for clarity, consistency, and compliance.
Maintain strict confidentiality and meet healthcare documentation standards.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to resolve ambiguities and ensure precision.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in medical transcription or a related role.
In-depth knowledge of medical terminology, healthcare documentation, and HIPAA compliance.
Excellent typing speed (minimum 65-70 WPM), listening, and grammar skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Ability to work full-time, on-site at our downtown Salt Lake City office.
