Job Title: Trucking Dispatcher (MUST be bilingual Spanish)
Location: Tequesta, FL (In-Office Position)
Pay Rate: $22/hour (Based on experience)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Trucking Dispatcher to join our team in Tequesta, Florida. If you have a background in transportation, logistics, and dispatching trucks with loads, we want to hear from you! This role offers a dynamic and fast-paced environment in a 24/7 operation. Candidates must have at least 1 year of dispatch or logistics experience and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and dispatch daily truck assignments and ensure timely delivery of loads.
- Communicate load details with brokers, including appointment times, commodity conditions, and any unexpected delays.
- Maintain accurate records of load and tracking data in the dispatch system.
- Make outbound calls to drivers and brokers to coordinate and confirm assignments (minimum 50 calls/day).
- Gather necessary documents from drivers for billing purposes, such as proof of insurance, BOLs, and Tax IDs.
- Monitor driver status, load progress, and ETAs to ensure smooth deliveries.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in BOLs and driver logs.
Schedule:
- Training: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
- Post-training: Shifts will include weekends to support 24/7 operations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics, transportation, or trucking dispatch.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage a fast-paced workload.
- Detail-oriented with experience in managing documentation for billing and compliance.
- Familiarity with dispatch systems and transportation operations.
