Job Description:
This is not your normal warehouse role as it is a Material Handlers positions. Lots of customer facing but still has the manual labor/warehouse functionality. Daily activities will include receiving, stocking, and issuance of spare parts. This position is in an office style setting at a manufacturing site. Candidate will be customer facing. This position is 50% physical and 50% computer work. Lifting up to 40lbs is required. This position does require a large amount of walking - 10,000-15,000 steps a day.
Customer facing experience, and good communications and attention to detail and accuracy. Candidate should understand that this role is still physically demanding and in a warehouse environment.
Must have:
1 year Computer experience teams, Outlook-must be able to perform dictation to process daily items.
6 months recent customer facing experience.
Strong communication skills, written and verbal
Business casual
Qualifications:
A background in Warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is preferred.
Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn it.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs,
Able to stand, walk, bend, twist, pull for the full 12 hour shift.
Responsibilities:
? Pull and prepare orders for shipment.
? Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material.
? Ensure warehouse is clean, organized, secure and safe at all times.
