Part-Time z/OS Systems Programmer – Hybrid or Remote (U.S.)

We are seeking an experienced z/OS Systems Programmer to join a dynamic technical team supporting IBM Mainframe systems. This part-time role (M-W, 8-5) offers the opportunity to leverage your expertise in maintaining and upgrading z/OS operating systems while assisting users and other team members. Hybrid work is preferred (Boulder, CO), but remote candidates within the U.S. will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:
? Maintain and upgrade the z/OS Operating System
? Troubleshoot and resolve mainframe system issues
? Support users and provide technical guidance to team members
? Manage zOS SYSPLEX, RACF Administration, JES parameters, and dataset storage
? Install IBM software and perform system optimizations

Requirements:
?? 5+ years of z/OS systems programming experience
?? Strong knowledge of mainframe hardware, storage, and networking (FICON/ESCON, DASD, VTS)
?? Expertise in catalog management, Unix System Services, SYS1.PARMLIB, and JES system programming
?? Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
?? U.S. Citizenship required

?? Compensation: $44.90 - $61.90/hr
?? Location: Boulder, CO (Hybrid) or Remote (U.S.)
? Duration: ASAP – 2/23/2026 (Temp-to-Perm)
