An E-Commerce Specialist helps businesses establish, manage, and improve their online sales channels. Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Assess business needs and help develop e-commerce plans that support sales, branding, and customer engagement goals.

  • Maintain online storefronts and update product listings, descriptions, images, prices, and promotional content.

  • Organize product categories and featured collections to improve product discovery and digital merchandising.

  • Optimize product pages and website content using relevant keywords and search engine optimization practices.

  • Coordinate email, social media, and digital advertising campaigns to promote products and attract qualified visitors.

  • Analyze website traffic, conversion rates, sales, and campaign results to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Review navigation, product pages, and checkout experiences; coordinate improvements with design and technical teams.

  • Monitor online product availability and coordinate inventory updates, replenishment needs, and fulfillment issues with relevant teams.

  • Check product information, links, pricing, and promotions for accuracy; investigate and help resolve storefront issues.

  • Prepare performance reports and recommend changes to content, merchandising, promotions, and online sales strategies.

Skills / Requirements / Qualifications

  • E-Commerce Management: Ability to maintain online sales channels, organize store updates, and support daily e-commerce operations.

  • Digital Merchandising: Skill in arranging product categories, collections, and promotions to improve visibility and encourage purchases.

  • Search Engine Optimization: Knowledge of keyword research, product-page optimization, and search-friendly content.

  • Digital Marketing: Understanding of email marketing, social media, paid advertising, and coordinated promotional campaigns.

  • Inventory and Operations Coordination: Understanding of product availability, inventory updates, order processing, and fulfillment workflows.

  • E-Commerce Platforms: Experience with the employer’s storefront or marketplace systems, such as Shopify or Amazon Seller Central.

  • Workflow Management: Ability to prioritize product launches, promotional updates, reporting deadlines, and requests from multiple teams.

  • Content and Brand Communication: Strong writing and editing skills for clear, accurate product descriptions and consistent promotional messaging.
