Short Description:

A Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to support strategic decision-making within an organization. Their duties include analyzing financial performance, preparing reports and dashboards, and identifying trends or risks to provide actionable insights to senior leadership. FP&A Managers collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment with financial goals and drive business performance improvements. Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills are essential for success in this role, as they play a critical part in shaping the company’s financial strategy and long-term growth.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the leadership team to formulate short- to long-term financial and strategic plans.
  • Analyze financial and operational results to understand the company's overall financial health.
  • Evaluate previous budgets and collaborate with business unit leaders to build annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Produce models to project long-term growth, accounting for factors impacting performance.
  • Provide detailed analysis and commentary on the performance of a product or department.
  • Communicate results and recommendations to senior management that will lead to revenue generation, cost reduction, and more efficient operations.

Skills / Requirements / Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant analytical experience.
  • Analytical Skillset: Utilization of Basic Intelligence (BI) and reporting tools. 
  • Research Skillset: Strong quantitive abilities.
  • Computer Skills: Highly proficient in MS Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, tables, and graph production) and MS PowerPoint.
  • Certification: Professional qualification such as Certificate Authority (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
