Short Description:

A Financial Systems Director oversees the development, implementation, and maintenance of financial software systems, ensuring they support the organization’s financial reporting and operational needs. Their duties include managing system upgrades, improving automation of financial processes, and ensuring data integrity across platforms. Financial Systems Directors collaborate with finance, IT, and other departments to align system functionality with business goals and ensure seamless financial operations. Strong leadership, technical expertise in financial systems, and strategic planning skills are essential for success in this role, as they play a key role in optimizing financial technology solutions for efficiency and accuracy.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Establish systems and processes to ensure the achievement of Information Systems' financials and strategic and operational goals.
  • Oversee a team of professionals that support multiple facilities and lines of businesses operating 24x7, 365 days a year.
  • Develop and manage a proactive customer service program for managing resources, infrastructure, field services, and support teams to meet the needs of our customers and community.
  • Create relationships with Inspira Health leadership, customers, and other stakeholders to improve workflow and patient and customer satisfaction.

Skills / Requirements / Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Accounting, Computer Science, or Finance-related field.
  • Experience: 8+ years experience in a professional finance environment Excellent systems knowledge and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) exposure.
  • Computing Skillset: An understanding of SQL, Crystal Reports, and Business Intelligent (BI) tools necessary to build a reporting suite. Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office suite (including intermediate Excel).
  • Miscellaneous: An understanding of external financial reporting, including preparation of group financial statements.
  • Miscellaneous: Experience in preparing monthly management reports within agreed monthly timetables.
  • Knowledge and experience: General ledger, journals; trial balance; reports, excellent accounting, and financial literacy
