Short Description:

A Network/Cloud Administrator is responsible for managing, configuring, and maintaining an organization’s network and cloud infrastructure. They ensure optimal performance, security, and availability of both on-premises and cloud-based systems. This role involves monitoring network traffic, troubleshooting issues, and implementing updates or upgrades to support business operations. Additionally, they oversee user access, enforce security protocols, and ensure compliance with organizational policies. Network/Cloud Administrators stay current with emerging technologies to optimize and scale infrastructure as needed.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Supports and maintains the campus network serving diverse needs.
  • Installs and configures enterprise-grade network switches, wireless access points, and routers.
  • Diagnosis and resolves network-related problems.
  • Maintain network documentation and operates supporting systems.
  • On-call responses for network outages and network-related issues. "Off-hours" schedule flexibility for planned or emergency work as needed.
  • Coordinates with internal and external groups to resolve technical issues.
  • Project management for both network-related projects and other IT-related initiatives.
  • Assists with research, planning, testing, and implementation of new technologies and services.

Skills / Requirements / Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum five years of experience with Azure and Office 365. Minimum five years of hands-on working with large and complex network environments.
  • Software: Experience using Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework. Experience with migrating entities from on-prem to Azure cloud presence. Microsoft Azure Solutions. Microsoft MCSA (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate) in Windows Server. Microsoft MCSA in Office 365 and SharePoint online.
