Short Description:

Responsible for writing clear and concise copy for digital mediums, including online ads, publications, and websites.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Consult with sales, media, and marketing representatives to obtain information on products or services and discuss style and length of content.
  • Create appropriate content for each platform according to set standards regarding the brand, audience, messaging, and terminology.
  • Edit, standardize, or make changes to other writer's or team members' material to meet specific platform guidelines.
  • Interview staff and review material to become familiar with product technologies and production methods to accurately promote relevant products and services.
  • Select photographs, drawings, sketches, diagrams, and charts to illustrate the material.
  • Vary language and tone of messages based on audience, product, and medium.
