Short Description:

A Proposal Specialist is responsible for managing and coordinating the development of contracts and proposals to secure new business opportunities. They collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and creative teams to ensure proposals accurately represent the company's goods and services while aligning with client needs and industry standards. Proposal Specialists craft compelling, well-structured documents that highlight the company’s value proposition while tracking deadlines and refining content to enhance clarity and persuasiveness. Strong attention to detail, project management skills, and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively are essential for success in this role.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Edit, standardize, or make changes to material prepared by other writers or team members.
  • Interview production and engineering personnel and read journals and other materials to become familiar with product details, functionality, and production methods.
  • Maintains records and files of work and revisions.
  • Organize proposal materials according to set standards regarding brand, order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.
  • Select photographs, drawings, sketches, diagrams, and charts to illustrate the positive attributes and functionality of the product.
