Short Description:

A Traffic Coordinator is responsible for managing the workflow and scheduling of marketing promotions and projects within an organization, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and according to specifications. They coordinate between different teams, track project progress, and help prioritize work to meet deadlines. Traffic Coordinators also handle communications, resolve any scheduling conflicts, and ensure efficient use of resources. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once are essential for success in this role. 

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Develop or implement project tracking and quality control systems, analyze work products, conducting quality control to ensure high-quality work products.
  • Diplomatically facilitate communication among project partners, including copywriters, design, video, promotions, and other marketing team members.
  • Excellent organizational, collaboration, negotiating, and communication skills.
  • Monitor processes, workflows, schedules, and upcoming marketing projects to make decisions regarding staffing requirements and assignments to complete tasks accurately and on time.
  • Participate in general planning and organization related to the production of marketing projects.
  • Prioritize project deliverables and function as a mediator between teams, including reminding teams of deadlines and escalating issues when needed.
  • Review operations and confer with staff to resolve production problems and improve workflows.
  • Set goals and deadlines for the marketing department.
